- Strong computer skills. Knowledge of Lacerte is a plus;

Aimlon CPA P.C. office in New York, NY is seeking a high performing Senior Tax Accountant who is as passionate about providing meaningful insight to businesses and individuals as he or she is about investing in his or her own professional growth.
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service working with Staff accountants, Seniors and Partners as well as interacting with clients in a range of markets and industries. In that role, you’ll:
- Perform all tasks related to the complete accounting process, including journal entries, month end close, general ledger maintenance, bank account, credit cards accounts, accounts receivable, merchant accounts, account payable and other balance sheet items reconciliation, and payroll
- Review complex nonprofit, partnership, S Corp. and corporate returns
- Research issues involved in federal, state and local tax planning projects
- Deal with the IRS, state and local tax authorities, representation of clients at audits
- Conduct tax research using CCH
- Review and maintain budgets
- Keep partners updated about the status of the engagement
- Maintain client relations
- Supervise work of staff
- Visit potential client sites for business proposals
