This article intends to provide practical guidance on the Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) loan to French speaking small business owners or managers, not-for-profit organization managers, veterans’ organization managers, Tribal concern managers, or self-employed individuals, sole proprietor, and independent contractors
In its initial version, the “PPP” loan program is a USD659 billion forgivable loan program that the U.S. Congress designed to help businesses of 500 employees or fewer in operation in the U.S. as of February 15, 2020 to overcome the challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic and the related economic crisis. The program has subsequently been amended with additional fundings provided to accommodate businesses’ needs.
